SeriousFun and The American Camp Association (ACA) are pleased to announce the addition of a new Medically-Focused Camp Programs Track at ACA's National Conference, which will be held February 9-12, 2016, in Atlanta, GA. Niagara Cares Brings More SeriousFun To Camps For Children With Serious Illnesses

Niagara Cares, in its inaugural cycle of grant awards, has granted $300,000 to enhance aquatic and hospital outreach programming at its camps across the country. The funding will support swimming, boating and fishing programs at seven U.S. camps, while four of the camps will receive additional funds to expand their outreach programs to children in local hospitals. Click here to learn more »

Mary Beth Powers Joins SeriousFun Children's Network as New Chief Executive Officer

SeriousFun Children's Network has named Mary Beth Powers as its new Chief Executive Officer. She joins SeriousFun after an 18-year career at Save the Children, most recently serving as Associate Vice President and Campaign Chief for their Newborn and Child Survival Campaign. Mary Beth Powers will lead SeriousFun's efforts in working with the Network of camps to maintain standards of excellence, provide training and technical expertise, foster program innovation and develop a strong funding base for global programs. Tarkett North America Becomes Sponsor for SeriousFun Children's Network

As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Tarkett North America announced today its support for SeriousFun Children’s Network. Starting with North Star Reach, the SeriousFun Camp in Michigan, Tarkett will contribute a range of flooring products from its residential and commercial brands to outfit the entire camp. Alcoa Foundation Provides $300,000 Grant to Expand Good and Green Fellows Program

Thanks to a generous $300,000 grant from Alcoa Foundation, seven camps in SeriousFun Children’s Network will be able to hire college students to help develop environmental programming for campers and increase the long-term ecological sustainability of camps in three countries. Read More »

Families attending fall programs this past weekend at select SeriousFun camps were treated to a special day from a long time sponsor and the folks who know how to play better than anyone, Hasbro! Wishes by Wyndham, the philanthropic foundation of Wyndham Worldwide, presented a $160,000 check to SeriousFun Children’s Network on Friday, August 16 at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
