seriousfun 2015 new york city gala

an evening of seriousfun celebrating paul newman

On March 2nd, SeriousFun Children’s Network hosted a star-studded Gala at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City to celebrate the legacy of our founder, Paul Newman.

The Gala featured appearances and performances by George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Aloe Blacc, Renée Fleming, Carole King, Natalie Cole, Danny DeVito, David Letterman, Paul Shaffer and SeriousFun Campers.

The evening was a true celebration of Paul Newman’s philanthropic legacy and featured a series of live performances, video presentations, and readings that illustrated just how special the camps are, and the important impact they have on the campers and their families.

The evening raised more than $1.7 million for SeriousFun Children’s Network, providing support for its 30 camps and programs around the world. Since its inception, SeriousFun camps and programs have served more than 518,000 children and families from more than 50 countries, always free of charge.

We are grateful to Newman's Own Foundation, Abercrombie & Fitch and all of the generous individuals and corporations that supported the event.

To continue their year-long celebration of founder Paul Newman’s 90th birthday, SeriousFun will host galas in Los Angeles on May 14, 2015, and London on November 3, 2015 all are Produced by Lou Adler and Kevin Duncan ...Additional details will be announced.
